Hi, I'm Ashlee! I'm a senior History/Social Studies Education major here at Appalachian State! I'm taking Dr. Sibaja's course because I believe that it will provide a more relatable insight into what teaching a high school history class will involve. I hope that by the end of the semester I will feel more confident in my advancement into the educational world as my time here at ASU comes to an end! After graduation, I'm contemplating between two different career paths - both working with students though. Obviously, choice number one is teaching; maybe somewhere in Tennessee or out at the coast in South Carolina! Option two would be to continue my path working within the YMCA. I'm very into sports - especially football and basketball! You'll most likely catch me at the Rock every home game this fall! I'm looking forward to this class and I can't wait to see what it will entail!
